Play, Create, Learn with Commotion Dance

Commotion Dance offer a strong and exciting outreach package devised from Vicki Hargreaves’ and Rosa Kentwood’s extensive 15 years experience working with toddlers, children and families. We work to build sustainable partnerships that benefit all, offering tailor made workshops and classes with each organisation or group. Our workshops and projects are suitable for young people of all ages and abilities in both vocational and non-vocational settings, specialising in Early Years, Primary to Secondary, Special Needs, Integrated Family Groups and Graduate Mentoring.

Commotion Dance offers a wide range of workshops/classes; participants will experience the art of play through movement, colourful props and lively music. Our workshops and classes are exciting and playful and offer creativity for all, suitable for any age and ability. Our specialism is in early years and working across ages with families. Our workshops and classes offer a fun and memorable experience and are a great way to keep toddlers and children healthy and active and provide a fun, safe, and exciting environment for children to express themselves creatively.

Commotion Dance offer workshops in a variety of dance styles, and we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver cross-curricular sessions based upon a topic of your choice.

Teacher and Artist Development:

We deliver high quality teacher and artist training on how to create dance for early years and young children, leaving participants with successful lesson plans and tools that can be put straight into action.

Specailist Workshops:

We offer specialist workshops relating to the company’s current performance work. Pupils will experience a stimulating and interactive dance workshop that is both enjoyable and educationally valuable. Through tasks that inspire creativity, the practical workshops will encourage the participants to engage with dance in a fun and accessible way.

Dance Parties:

Looking for a party idea? Commotion Dance can offer a variety of party options for toddlers and children of all ages and abilities. Series of workshops from £45 per hour
